Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Pirooz Eslami is a nationally board-certified Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner with a distinguished background in both clinical practice and medical research. He earned his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from West Coast University and holds dual national board certifications as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, NP-C). In addition, he is ECFMG certified and originally trained in Internal Medicine at the esteemed Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

With over 16 years of experience in academic research, Dr. Eslami has made significant contributions to the medical community through his work at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. His research has focused on critical areas including Metabolic Syndrome, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Essential Tremor. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is reflected in numerous published studies, as well as collaborative projects with leading researchers and institutions.

Dr. Eslami brings a unique blend of international medical education and U.S.-based clinical expertise, offering a holistic and evidence-based approach to patient care. He is known for his dedication to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a lifelong commitment to improving health outcomes through both hands-on practice and scientific discovery.

Our Practice

 

Dr. Keyvan Shirazi, MD is an internal medicine specialist in Encino, CA and has been practicing for the past 20 years. 

After completing his medical training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Keyvan Shirazi returned back home to Southern California where he started his practice in Internal Medicine.


Since 2002, Dr Shirazi has been involved in the San Fernando medical community where he holds hospital privileges at Providence-Cedar Sinai Tarzana Medical Center as well as Encino Hospital Medical Center. Besides his private practice in Encino, Dr Shirazi is also a medical director at Providence-Cedar Sinai Tarzana Medical Center and is involved in improving quality of care and is part of utilization review committee.

Since the start of his practice, Dr. Shirazi understood the need to care for the frail and the elderly in the community. He is also a staff at the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging and holds privileges at the Joyce Eisenberg-Keefer Medical Center. He is involved in various skilled nursing facilities and is experienced in chronic disease of the elderly and end of life care.

Dr. Shirazi enjoys his work as a primary care physician and is also involved in the care of his patients at the hospital or skilled nursing facilities. He strives to provide the best quality of care regardless of 
his patients' socioeconomic status.

Dr. Keyvan Shirazi enjoys his time off with his wife and three children, as well as sports and travel.
